Schwabe Holding (part of Rostec State Corporation) is modernizing the aviation complex for remote sensing of the Earth (ERS). This was reported by the holding's press service.
The device will allow for the rapid detection of incident sites by obtaining 3D images of the Earth's surface.
Work within the framework of the study is being carried out using a prototype of the ERS complex. Initially, the device could only transmit information received in the infrared spectrum.
The prototype of the complex was equipped with television channels and special software.
The complex can also be used to keep records of forestry, find unauthorized logging, diagnose the condition of oil and gas pipelines, heating networks, and much more.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec developed an online tachograph.
