The French company MBDA presented mock-ups of missiles at the Euronaval weapons and military equipment exhibition, which is taking place in Paris. Polish military expert Maximilian Dura drew attention to the promising FCASW TP and FCASW RJ missiles, stating that they would allegedly be able to break through Russian air defense.
Their only drawback is that they will only be available no earlier than 2030.
The expert claims that the anti-ship version of the FCASW missile will be available for deployment in 2028, and the missile for hitting ground targets in 2030.
According to Maximilian Dura, the French from MBDA used Russia's experience with the hypersonic anti-ship missile "Zircon" when creating the FCASW RJ missile. At the same time, the expert did not explain what he was talking about. He was probably talking about the fact that the missiles will be able to fly at speeds above Mach 2, like the "Zircon".
