Moscow auto electricians have learned how to retrofit the stabilization system to simplified LADA Vesta configurations. The press service of AvtoVAZ called such tuning illegal.
This modification is a gross and dangerous interference in the design of the car, and is also prohibited by Russian law.
Representatives of the auto giant explained that modifications can only be made at the manufacturing plant.
As a reminder, the LADA Vesta without an electronic stability control system was produced at AvtoVAZ until October 2024. A number of service stations in Moscow have recently begun offering a service to retrofit this system to simplified LADA Vesta configurations.
The tuning will cost 50,000 rubles. The mechanics replace the ABS unit, retrofit the ESP unit (AvtoVAZ calls this system ESC), sensors and the activation button. The car needs to be left at the service center for several days for modifications.
