На Солнце произошло девять мощных вспышек класса M

Six of the nine flares were accompanied by disruptions in shortwave radio communications

According to the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI “IPG”), scientists recorded nine powerful class M flares on the Sun on Monday.

The first of these, with a level of M1.5, occurred around 04:00 Moscow time and lasted 10 minutes.

Later, at 18:38 Moscow time, the most powerful flare of the day was recorded — class M5.6. It originated in the group of sunspots 3883 (coordinates S07E38) and lasted 20 minutes.

Six of these nine flares caused disruptions in shortwave (SW) radio communications, indicating a significant impact of solar activity on the Earth's radio communication systems.
