AvtoVAZ produced more than 25.5 thousand LADA Largus cars in Izhevsk, as confirmed by the manufacturer's press service. This number of cars was produced at the LADA Izhevsk car plant in less than six months after the resumption of production.
The General Director of the LADA Izhevsk car plant, Alexander Bogachev, said that a record number of cars were produced in October — 7.7 thousand units, despite the difficulties associated with sanctions pressure. In September, an electric version of the model called e-Largus was also launched into production, the cost of which, taking into account subsidies for electric car buyers, will be from 3 million rubles.
In the future, AvtoVAZ plans to release a new generation of LADA Largus, which indicates an intention to continue developing and expanding the model range. The resumption of production of the popular budget station wagon LADA Largus took place on May 15, 2024.
