Over the year, demand for RV rentals in Russia increased by 10% due to the growing popularity of auto tourism. Most often, such transport is rented in Moscow and the region, the Krasnodar Territory, which follows from a study conducted by Avito Auto and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
It turned out that the demand for RVs is seasonal and increases in the summer. In July, Russians rented a motorhome more often than in other months.
A passenger car cannot always provide the desired comfort on a long journey, which is why the demand for RVs is growing. Many buy them, while for others it is easier and more economical to rent them for a trip.
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation stated that the authorities are developing new car routes for tourists. They can be found on the Travel.rf portal. Currently, 59 routes are available in 50 regions of Russia.
Four federal highways were identified as priorities — M4, M8, M11 and M12. About 150 multifunctional roadside service areas of various types are located or under construction along these highways.
