Italians Built a Motorhome on the Basis of a "Loaf" and Now Put It Up for Sale

The car is equipped with a 2-liter Italian diesel engine

In Italy, a UAZ "Loaf" converted into a motorhome has been put up for sale. For the local car market, this is quite an exotic model, because in Italy you don’t often find "Loaves" for sale, especially those modified in this way.

A special superstructure has been welded to the top of the car, which increases the height of the ceiling. There is an expedition trunk on the sides and in the front. A tent awning is attached to the side. Technically, the car has a different engine. The Italians installed a two-liter SOFIM diesel in the "UAZ".

Judging by the photos, the car is far from in perfect condition. The paint is swollen and chipped off from below. The "Loaf" is just begging for restoration and repainting. However, considering that the car is 44 years old (it was made in 1980), it looks good. The motorhome is asking for almost 9 thousand euros.

Previously, www1.ru wrote that the "Loaf" became the most popular car in Russia among the models of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. Russians are not even embarrassed by the fact that the car has been produced since the 60s of the last century.
