Russian all-terrain vehicle manufacturer "Burlak All-Terrain Vehicles" has launched import-substituting production in Kurgan. Transmissions for the domestic market will be produced here. The new equipment was purchased with the support of the Kurgan Region government.
Two new workshops, where machining centers have been created, allow the production of transmission elements that are used in the production of the all-terrain vehicles themselves, and in the future, the company is ready to provide parts to enterprises in the country.
According to Shumkov, there is demand for transmissions in Russia.
Another production unit with an area of more than 10,000 sq. m is being built nearby. This will create new jobs.
The first "Burlak" all-terrain vehicle appeared in 2015. The company cooperates with large resource extraction enterprises. "Burlaks" operate in the Russian Arctic and in Antarctica.
