Повысит производительность испытаний: Калашников поставил заказчику мишенный комплекс «Индикатор»

The automated device operates on domestic software

The Central Research Institute for Precision Machine Engineering (TsNIITOCHMASH JSC, part of the Kalashnikov concern) has completed commissioning work on the implementation of the automated target system (ATS) "Indicator" at the customer's enterprise, the concern's press service reported.

The "Indicator" ATS includes unique domestically produced software. After testing and certification, the system was included in the State Register of Measuring Instruments.

The system is designed for non-contact measurement of bullet coordinates in the target plane and calculation of accuracy and grouping characteristics based on them. Its operation is based on the principle of acoustic location of the shock wave of objects with supersonic speed.
Press service of the Kalashnikov concern

The "Indicator" has no analogues in the domestic industry. It functions as a virtual target and will eliminate the need for traditional shield-holders, increasing testing productivity.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov will increase the production of metal-cutting and other tools by more than 30%.
