This initiative aims to more accurately display authors and their content in search results, making it more user-friendly.
Now, if "VK Video" finds a channel with a name similar to the user's query, the icon of the original channel will automatically be raised in the search results along with its content. This greatly simplifies the process of subscribing to authors and navigating to their pages. At the same time, priority will be given to videos uploaded by the authors themselves, which is especially relevant for content with influencers and shows.
According to company representatives, these changes should help authors attract a new audience and increase interest in their content.
