Micro-fulfillment in 38,000 branches: "Russian Post" accelerates delivery for online sellers

The new service will speed up logistics for sellers, providing storage and fast delivery of goods to branches

"Russian Post" has launched a micro-fulfillment service for marketplace sellers, offering storage of goods in branches and their express delivery to customers in 30 minutes. The new service includes two options: sellers can submit products to any of the 38,000 branches for transfer to logistics and sorting centers, or store goods directly in branches with the possibility of instant delivery to customers within the radius of operation.

The express delivery scheme allows orders to be collected and delivered within 5-7 minutes from the moment of ordering. This option is available in 1507 branches, of which 346 are located in Moscow. Russian Post takes over all storage, processing and transportation processes, and its partner, "Darkstore near the house", provides automation and order management at every stage. The project covers an area of 325.4 thousand square meters, providing 1.3 million storage spaces for goods, which significantly speeds up logistics and reduces delivery time for customers.

Micro-fulfillment is a system for storing and processing goods in small warehouses near consumers, which speeds up delivery and reduces logistics costs. This approach is especially effective for online commerce, as it allows you to fulfill orders faster and improve customer service.
