According to him, at the moment "Malka" is the second in terms of the radius of fire impact of long-range gun systems of the Russian Armed Forces after the 152-mm SPG 2S35 "Coalition-SV" with rifled guns 2A88. The firing range from "Malka" with active-rocket projectiles ZOF44 is 47.5 km.

As a result, these SPGs are capable of conducting counter-battery counteraction against American M109A6 "Paladin" SPGs with a M284 gun 39 calibers long. The firing range with "Excalibur" projectiles from guns of this ballistics does not exceed 45 km.

The expert drew attention to the fact that the "Malka" SPG can only resist the "Archer" and Ceaser SPGs with long-barreled L52 guns when the enemy deploys the gun 15 km from the line of combat contact.

"Malka" is a modernized version of the 2S7 "Pion" self-propelled gun, developed in the 1980s and still considered one of the most powerful in the world.

The main purpose of the self-propelled artillery unit is to defeat enemy objects and important targets in the tactical depth of the defense behind the front line.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian army reduced the losses of Supercam reconnaissance drones to almost zero. UAV operators know in advance where the enemy's air defense and electronic warfare points are located.
