«ЭвоКарго» запустила роботы-грузовики в ОЭЗ «Алабуга»

The transport will help optimize logistics processes

The company «Rockwool-Volga» announced a cooperation with the domestic developer of autonomous vehicles «EvoCargo». Under the agreement, «EvoCargo» will provide a fleet of six Evocargo N1 autonomous electric trucks for the transportation of «Rockwool-Volga» products.

These unmanned electric vehicles will be used to transport pallets of mineral wool along three routes within the special economic zone «Alabuga». The operation of Evocargo N1 is based on the use of artificial intelligence technologies and equipped with a multi-sensor system of sensors. This ensures safe and efficient navigation in the environment of other vehicles without human intervention.

Automation and robotization are among the priority areas of the company's development. As a result of the project implementation, it will be possible to significantly reduce routine operations and traffic on the production site, which will have a beneficial effect on the safety of operational processes.
Kirill Dolgopolov, Head of Warehouse Logistics Projects at «Rockwool»

The introduction of autonomous trucks will optimize logistics processes, increase the speed and safety of transportation, and reduce transportation costs.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in St. Petersburg developed an unmanned truck.
