Rosatom State Corporation has successfully completed the installation of the rotor into the stator of the turbogenerator. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
The rotor start-up will allow all auxiliary systems to be connected to the stator and bearings to be installed. It will also enable specialists to center the shaft line of the turbogenerator.
Specialists have started adjusting and connecting the turbine and generator rotors into one line. After that, the turbine unit will be prepared for installation on a turning gear and a series of pre-start tests will be carried out.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rosatom installed part of the outer protective shell at the Akkuyu NPP, and Turkey is talking about a possible postponement of the launch.
