Roscosmos announced the splashdown of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft with the Crew-8 mission crew. This includes Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin, as well as NASA astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, and Jeanette Epps. Due to poor weather conditions at the splashdown site, the undocking of the spacecraft from the ISS and the return of Crew-8 to Earth were postponed several times. But in the end, everything went well.
Together with his crew colleagues, the Roscosmos cosmonaut spent 235 days on the station. All members of the Crew-8 crew are in order and feeling well.
The crew of the 72nd long-term expedition remains in orbit, consisting of Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Wagner, and Alexander Gorbunov, and NASA astronauts Donald Pettit, Nick Hague, Barry Wilmore, and Sunita Williams.
