The latest Russian aviation guided missile "Vikhr-1" is capable of hitting targets at a range of up to 10 kilometers. The characteristics of the projectile were revealed by military expert Viktor Litovkin.
The "Vikhr" missile is an anti-tank guided supersonic missile used with Ka-52 class helicopters. It is aimed using a laser beam and has a firing range of up to 10 km.
He added that the missile carries a tandem cumulative warhead capable of penetrating up to 800 mm of armor. Litovkin also noted that the enemy does not have similar weapons.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec had increased the production of ammunition by tenfold, and artillery shells by sixfold. The state corporation is fulfilling the state defense order at almost 100%.
