Russian large anti-submarine ships "Admiral Panteleev" and "Admiral Tributs" left the Chinese port of Qingdao and headed for Vladivostok, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported.
The Russian ships entered the port on October 17, when the maneuvers in the Asia-Pacific region (APR) ended. As part of the business visit, the crews of "Admiral Panteleev" and "Admiral Tributs" took part in protocol events.
The press service of the Pacific Fleet added that the delegation of Russian sailors was headed by Rear Admiral Alexander Schwartz. During the meeting with representatives of the Qingdao city administration, the parties discussed strengthening friendly ties.
The ships of the Russian Navy and the Chinese Navy patrolled the Asia-Pacific region after the "Interaction-2024" exercises in the Sea of Okhotsk. They performed combat training exercises, including anti-submarine defense. These maneuvers were monitored in the West.
