In the Russian biotech laboratory Neiry, a device to help schoolchildren has been developed — a "sorting hat." It will help future students decide on a choice of profession, college, or university. This was reported by the company's press service.
Science stands behind the magic: a neurointerface is built into the sorting hat, with the help of which the team of neurophysiologists and psychologists from "Brainy" conducts testing and in-depth analysis of the student's brain activity. As a result, the student receives a report with personal recommendations on choosing a future profession, including based on biological data.
The development is a headband with electrodes. They read an electroencephalogram and photoplethysmogram and transmit the data to a computer.
The "Brainy" service system analyzes 15 parameters — relaxation, fatigue, involvement, stress, concentration, and others.
As a result, "Brainy" recommends three professional areas to the student and offers examples of professions that he should consider. For example, if a teenager is strong in the engineering field, professions such as robotics engineer, mechanic, installation specialist, service engineer, and others are suitable for him.
Anyone aged 14 to 18 can undergo testing. Registration is available on the website https://brainy-prof.ru/.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian students for the first time successfully defended their diplomas with the help of the YandexGPT neural network.
