В России обучат ИИ создавать вакцины от рака

This will make it possible to determine the necessary combinations of drugs for treatment

Russian scientists plan to use artificial intelligence (AI) to develop cancer vaccines. This was announced by Alexander Gintsburg, Director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.

AI will be used for calculations. For this, a domestic database is being created for its training. This approach will speed up the process of creating vaccines.

In order to train AI, an experimental base is needed, namely, sequences of about 40-50 thousand tumors with the determination of those antigenic compatibilities that are expressed in this patient. Thanks to this, AI will be able to determine in an instant whether this combination can be used in humans or not.

It is worth noting that preclinical tests of the vaccine showed that the drug can suppress tumor development.
