New footage of the Russian ASN 233115 "Tiger-M SpN" armored vehicle at the CSTO "Rubezh-2024" exercises has surfaced online.
The photos show that the vehicle has received a large-caliber DShK machine gun, an anti-drone "birdhouse" net, and additional hull armor as weaponry.
The ASN-233115 armored vehicle is designed for transporting personnel, various cargo, and towing trailer systems, as well as mounting weapons and military equipment, while providing the required level of bulletproof and mine protection.
The "Tiger-M" combines the qualities of a high-speed maneuverable vehicle and an all-terrain vehicle. It is equipped with an independent torsion suspension, allowing it to reach the highest possible speeds when driving over rough terrain, while maintaining a high level of comfort for the crew and the transported landing party.
The vehicle is equipped with a domestic mechanical 5-speed transmission and a diesel engine, and can tow a trailer device weighing 12.5 tons.
The armor provides protection for the crew, main components, and assemblies during all-round shelling from an AKM assault rifle with a 7.62 mm PS bullet and from an AK-74 assault rifle with a 5.45 mm PS bullet, which corresponds to level 1 ballistic protection according to STANAG 4569.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a universal small-sized torpedo was developed in Russia. The range is up to 7 km.
