During the training flights, tactical scenarios were played out to practice tasks according to their intended purpose — destroying fortifications, command posts, providing fire support to units, destroying concentrations of armored vehicles and enemy personnel, as well as conducting aerial reconnaissance.

The pilots carried out precision bombing with OFAB-250-270 high-explosive fragmentation air bombs on full-size targets at altitudes from 900 to 2,000 m and speeds up to 1,000 km/h on a target field at an aviation range.

The aircraft crews also practiced combat maneuvering and actions to evade enemy fighter aircraft and air defense systems.

All combat training tasks were completed by naval aviation pilots both during the day and at night. In total, more than 15 aircraft were involved in the exercise, as well as over 250 military personnel from the mixed aviation regiment of the Baltic Fleet naval aviation.
