The Board of Directors of "TCS Holding" has submitted a new name for shareholder voting: International Company Public Joint Stock Company "T-Technologies." This issue will be considered at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on November 14.
According to Alexey Malinovskiy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the holding, the name change completes the brand platform update after the redomiciliation of the parent structure to Russia. "Technological focus is the historical focus and DNA of our business, and we are officially reflecting this philosophy in the group's name," he noted.
The company emphasized that today the holding is a technology company with a diversified set of financial and lifestyle services, ranking among the top 3 largest IT employers in Russia. The company's regional IT hubs are present in 23 cities across the country, and the group invests billions of rubles in IT infrastructure and IT education.
The reasons for the name change are that technology is the foundation of the holding's business. Its services are used by 45 million customers, and the group is actively developing artificial intelligence both in Russia and abroad. The letter "T" is also the basis of several of the holding's brands, such as T-Bank, T-Investments, T-Business, and T-Insurance.
