Обновленный УАЗ «Патриот» с новым дизельным двигателем выпустят в 2025 году

The SUV will receive a more powerful 2.7-liter gasoline engine

UAZ has revealed plans to launch new models and updates that are expected in the near future.

The company announced that the installation of a modernized 2.7-liter engine has already begun on the SGR family of vehicles, known as "Bukhanka". The new engine retained its power of 112 hp, but the torque increased from 198 to 213 Nm. In addition, the updated unit now meets the "Euro 5" environmental class, while previously it had "Euro 0" and "Euro 2".

In November, UAZ plans to introduce an updated "Hunter" SUV, which will be equipped with a more powerful 2.7-liter gasoline engine with 149 hp and a torque of 235 Nm, which is also used on the "Patriot" model.

The next new product will be the UAZ "Profi" diesel van, which will debut in early 2025. It will be presented in the "Polutorka" version, and later it will also be released in an all-wheel drive modification.

The appearance of an updated UAZ "Patriot" with a 2.0-liter diesel engine is also expected, which will probably be produced at the "Sollers" plant in Yelabuga. UAZ plans to equip the SUV with both diesel and gasoline modifications with a new gearbox, which most likely implies an automatic transmission, previously announced by the company.
