Specialists from the Penza Radio Plant (part of the Ruselectronics holding) have developed a mobile application for managing sowing equipment. It was presented at the Agrosalon-2024 exhibition in Moscow, the holding's press service reported.
The technology provides remote control of the electric motor of the seeder's sowing unit. With its help, you can regulate the amount of seeds and fertilizers applied to the soil. It is expected that this will facilitate the work of the machine operator and significantly speed up agricultural work.
The Penza Radio Plant plans to integrate its IT solution with a geopositioning system. This will automate sowing in different areas of land.
The development is currently undergoing testing. Agricultural holdings from 50 Russian regions have shown interest in it.
