Russian electronic warfare equipment has reduced the effectiveness of HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems by more than 90%. This was reported in an article for The Atlantic by two U.S. Army veterans.
They noted that just a year ago, HIMARS was the most sought-after system on the front lines. However, now it has a success rate of less than 10% due to Russian innovations in the field of electronic warfare.
Now the successful hit rate is less than 10 percent thanks to Russian innovations in the field of EW.
The authors of the article added that any innovations on the front lines are met with a response from Russia within a few weeks.
Earlier, www1.ru wrote that the Russian heavy MLRS "Uragan" has strengthened counter-battery warfare on the front lines. The firing range is about 36 km.
