KMZ Developed a Set of Jacks for Repairing MCP at Nuclear Power Plants

The equipment is also suitable for installing the Main Circulation Pump of the unit

The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding has developed a set of jacks, interchangeable attachments for them, as well as tees for the installation and repair of the Main Circulation Pump (MCP) of a nuclear power plant (NPP), the holding's press service reported.

Mikhail Ulitchev, an employee of SKB-1, said that the equipment is designed for centering the electric motor and dismantling the removable part of the MCP.

The jack is supplied with a hydraulic power unit or a manual hydraulic pump, for connection to which a set of high and low pressure hoses with quick couplings is used.
