Now residents and visitors of Moscow can watch the inhabitants of the Moscow Zoo online on the mos.ru website. Installed cameras broadcast what is happening from nine enclosures, including both outdoor and indoor pavilions, where animals spend time in the cold season.
In this anniversary year of the Moscow Zoo, new broadcasts have been launched that make education more accessible to visitors not only from the capital, but also from other regions of Russia. On the air you can see Muscovites' favorites, such as the giant pandas Zhuyi, Dingding and Katyusha, as well as Asian elephants, the orangutan family, the pygmy hippopotamus Ksyusha, lynx, honey badgers, meerkats and gorillas. Broadcasts also cover the inhabitants of the South American lawn - capybaras, llamas, vicuñas and a female guanaco.
Each animal has its own page on zoo.mos.ru, where you can not only watch the video broadcast, but also learn interesting facts about them, see photos and get acquainted with their behavior in the wild. This interactive observation allows viewers to find out what the panda Katyusha does between feedings and sleep, whether she can climb the hill and slide down it, and what is being prepared for lunch for the honey badgers.
