A new engine for FPV drones has been created at JSC "PO "Sever" (part of the Rosatom Group of Companies). The device is as good as foreign counterparts. This was announced by Alexander Evseev, General Director of "PO "Sever".
We have applied for a grant (from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation - IF) for the development of three items of engines for drones, while the documents are being processed, one has been developed, a complete analogue of the one (engine - IF) that is installed on FPV drones.
It is planned to produce 55 prototypes of engines in three modifications. The new device is designed for a weight of 1.8 kg to 3 kg of cargo. It operates in a temperature range from 150C° to 200C°, cools down quickly and can be restarted.
According to Alexander Evseev, the company can produce drones and components for them. The expected monthly output is 5 thousand engines with the appropriate capacity.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a hybrid power plant for the heavy drone C-76 was created in Moscow.
