The transition to the domestic auto industry will affect not only state, but also municipal employees. Currently, the Governor of the Samara Region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, continues to drive a pre-production Lada Aura car.

Earlier, the Administrative Directorate of the President of Russia began purchasing the first Lada Aura cars as part of the import substitution program and the transition to domestic cars. The cars will be used to provide transport services to federal government bodies.
