The Administrative Directorate of the President of Russia has begun purchasing the first LADA Aura premium cars as part of the import substitution program and the transition to domestic cars.
The cars will be used to provide transport services to federal government bodies. The initial purchases of cars were made in the standard configuration.
LADA Aura is built on the basis of LADA Vesta and features a 25-centimeter longer interior, which is especially convenient for rear-seat passengers. The interior is finished with natural leather of Russian production. The car is equipped with a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower, as well as an automatic transmission. The cost of the basic model will be about 2.6-2.8 million rubles.
The cars will be assigned to civil servants, and their operation will help determine reliability and collect passenger feedback.
