The "Yandex Music" service has added over 25 million compositions in lossless FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) format. They can be listened to not only in mobile and desktop applications, but also on TV Stations and smart speakers with Alice. This was reported by the company's press service.
The younger models of smart speakers, namely Station Lite and Station Mini, when the "Excellent" quality setting is activated, play music in AAC and MP3 format at a high bit rate, ensuring maximum sound quality taking into account their acoustic characteristics.
To listen on Yandex smart speakers ("Station Midi", "Station 2", "Station Max", "Station Duo Max") and TV Stations, you need to go to the "House with Alice" application and select your device. Tracks can be listened to in three modes — "Excellent", "Optimal" and "Economical", depending on the internet speed:
- Excellent — music in lossless and other high-quality formats for high-speed Wi-Fi network and unlimited internet. The mode is suitable for listening at home.
- Optimal — compositions for average traffic consumption.
- Economical — allows you to listen to songs with limited internet and slow speed.
The new service is available to "Yandex Plus" subscribers.
