Printed circuit boards to be assembled at MEPhI

Students will be trained in printed circuit board assembly technology

A printed circuit board assembly laboratory will appear at the National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI). The corresponding memorandum was signed by Rector Vladimir Shevchenko and Andrey Vlasov, General Director of Fizika-Pribor LLC.

The university will provide the premises, and Fizika-Pribor will provide the equipment for the surface mounting of components on printed circuit boards.

What equipment will MEPhI receive:

  • stencil printer
  • automatic component placement machine
  • chamber and conveyor solder reflow oven
  • ultrasonic cleaning bath
  • four-channel soldering station for leaded mounting

At the laboratory, students will learn the intricacies of the technological process, equipment settings, and work with modern materials used in mounting components in various types of packages. In the future, graduates will be able to find employment at radio electronics enterprises.
