Russian military personnel have begun launching kamikaze drones from helicopters to destroy unmanned boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Black Sea. The video went viral on social networks.
The footage shows the crew, representing the UAV team, launching an FPV drone from the board of a flying helicopter. It is not specified which particular machine the military personnel were working with.
Basically, the Russian Navy uses helicopters - Ka-27 and other models - to repel attacks by kamikaze boats, which shoot at targets in the sea area from aircraft guns.
However, here the rotorcraft was turned into a "drone mothership." It became a carrier of copters, simplifying their launch and significantly increasing the range of combat use.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the newest Berdysh reconnaissance drone is ready to be sent to the troops. It will detect a car in 6 km, and a person in 2 km.
