The third stage of the Moscow Cup in historical rally has ended at VDNKh. Classic or retro cars took part in it. Read more below.
Most of the participants were in Volgas - GAZ-21 and GAZ-24. Also, the 1912 Delaunay-Belleville HB4 Phaeton 24CV was spotted in the race. This car is stored in the Museum of the Special Purpose Garage of the Federal Security Service of Russia. In total, about 100 cars no older than 1985 participated in the competition.
The race started on September 29 at 10:30 on the VDNKh helipad, and the competition ended near the Museum of the Special Purpose Garage at 17:00.
Note that the first two stages were held in June and July. Before the start of the third stage, the crew of Dmitry and Veronika Patoka was leading, and their closest rivals were Ekaterina Stolyankova and Andrey Menshenin.
The results of the Moscow Cup in historical rally will be summed up on September 29. Then the winners of the team and women's standings, as well as the standings for certain brands, will be determined.
