An unusual LADA Vesta has been spotted online. Insiders photographed it near AvtoVAZ's Research and Development Center. The car has very large wheel arches. It is assumed that this is a "mule" for a future crossover.
Cut wheel arches, huge "bast shoes", five-bolt hubs, high clearance.
Probably, the car in the photo is a test platform for a future crossover based on LADA Vesta, or a so-called "mule". That is, this car is used to test various technical solutions that will later be used on the prototype.
As a reminder, the future crossover is planned to be shown at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2025. Its mass production will start in 2026. AvtoVAZ said that all the experience gained at the plant was invested in the car's design. It is claimed that its appearance will differ from well-known VAZ models.
