The Ministry of Digital Development has announced the results of the first qualifying stage for the new season of the international "Battle of Robots," which Russia is holding not for the first time. At the CSKA Arena, 32 teams with machines up to 110 kg and 16 youth teams with mini-robots up to 1.5 kg met on the high-tech ring.
The show could be watched online without coming to Moscow. The seven-hour broadcast of the competition on VK Video has already garnered more than 1.8 million views in less than a day.
The winners in the category of robots up to 110 kg are:

- Всеядные, Санкт-Петербург;

The winners in the category of youth robots up to 1.5 kg are:
- Destructor, Казань;
- Байкальские Звери, Иркутск;
- 104 СоюзМаш, Краснодар;
- План Б, Москва;
- Питерский лом, Санкт-Петербург;
- Robodom - Destructor, Казань;
- БРПЛ, Всеволжск, Ленинградская область;
- Механизаторы, Ижевск.
As noted by the Ministry of Digital Development, the winners of the first and second qualifying stages will meet in the final matches of the sports and technical championship at the end of the year. They will compete for a prize fund of 6.6 million rubles.
In general, in 2024, applications for participation were selected from 64 teams from Russia, Belarus, Brazil, India, Iran, China, the USA, Turkey, and Ecuador in the category of robots up to 110 kg. 32 Russian teams from 19 regions of the country will take part in the battles of mini-robots.
