American F-16 fighters are significantly inferior in performance to the Russian fourth-generation Su-35. This conclusion was reached by military expert Dmitry Kornev.
He noted that the domestic R-37M missiles in service with the Su-35S can engage F-16s at a distance of up to 300 km, compared to the 120 km range of American AMRAAM missiles. And in close air combat with Su aircraft equipped with a large supply and maneuverable short-range missiles, it will be very difficult for the American F-16 to fight.
The F-16 cannot even be compared in combat capabilities to the Russian Su-35S, of which there are now more than 100 units in the Russian Aerospace Forces. Currently, in terms of air combat capabilities, it is one of the most advanced in the world.
