The Russian multi-role fighter Su-35 is a very formidable weapon with exceptional characteristics. It is capable of competing with any foreign counterparts, including US combat vehicles, according to The National Interest.
Journalist Anthony J. Constantine stated that the Su-35 has proven combat power and unique characteristics of a mixed-generation fighter. He called the machine an "ideal fighter" - due to its ability to conduct combat, high speed and advanced protection systems.
The fighter's radar system is particularly impressive. It can detect aircraft at a distance of up to 350 km. Also noteworthy is the fighter's ability to reach supersonic speed without the need to use an afterburner.
Constantine quoted a former NATO officer who noted that if an American F-35 detected a Russian fighter, it would most likely retreat due to the super-maneuverability of this machine.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that Russian soldiers on the front line began to use a flamethrower drone. This is their own development, which is a fairly simple but effective system.
