Поразит две цели врага одновременно: что известно о разработке перспективного ПТРК «Корнет-Д1»

Carries modernized 9M133M-2 and 9M133FM-3 ATGMs in its arsenal

Russia is developing a highly mobile self-propelled anti-tank missile system "Kornet-D1". The system is capable of hitting two targets at once with 9M133M-2 missiles with a circular probable deviation of at least one meter, noted military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

The Kornet-D1 complex is made on the chassis of the BMD-4M airborne combat vehicle. Its arsenal includes advanced 9M133M-2 ATGMs with tandem cumulative warheads and 9M133FM-3 with high-explosive charges. Their range is 8 and 10 km, respectively.

The anti-tank self-propelled gun is armed with a pair of quad launchers. Each of them has its own individual laser-beam control module and optoelectronic guidance module with a thermal imaging channel. This turns the Kornet-D1 into a formidable weapon that can simultaneously engage two targets.

The most important detail in the architecture of the Kornet-D1 ATGM is the presence of an individual multispectral optoelectronic sighting system for each of the two выдвигающихся счетверённых launchers of 9M133M-2/FM-2 ATGMs, which provides the complex with two target channels.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that Russian soldiers on the front line began to use flamethrower drone. This is their own development, which is a fairly simple but effective system.
