The new Russian 5.45-mm belt-fed light machine gun RPL-20 will be presented at the ADEX 2024 defense industry exhibition. It will be held in Baku on September 24-26.
The novelty was developed by the Kalashnikov arms concern. The RPL-20 allows for a high density of fire due to the use of a 100 or 200-round belt. At the same time, the design ensures firing from the rear position of the moving system and barrel replacement.
Kalashnikov developed the RPL-20 in two versions: with barrel lengths of 415 and 590 mm. The machine gun has the ability to install a wide range of modern equipment and accessories, and is equipped with a folding telescopic stock with a shoulder rest and a lifting cheek piece.

- Box capacity — 100 or 200 rounds
- Weight with a long barrel, without a cartridge box, belt, PMS, front handle — no more than 5.5 kg
