The domestic sedan Lada Iskra is already "on the low start" before entering the market. The car has already appeared on the official Lada page, but detailed information about it is still hidden.
There is no complete brochure with a description of the trim levels, colors and equipment yet. Only photos are available. But the exact dimensions of the sedan have been published. Iskra is much more spacious than Granta, and in terms of wheelbase size, Iskra almost catches up with Vesta.
The body length of the Lada Iskra is 4333 mm, the front overhang is 820 mm, and the rear overhang is 910 mm. The wheelbase size is 2603 mm, ground clearance is 170 mm. The dimensions of the front track are 1534 mm, the rear track is 1527 mm.
Lada Iskra will occupy a market niche between Lada Granta and Lada Vesta. The car was made on a modern global platform, which was improved and made technologically independent. AvtoVAZ noted that when designing the Lada Iskra, they completely localized the electronic infrastructure of the model, and about 400 new parts appeared.
The domestic car will be presented in sedan, station wagon and Cross station wagon bodies. The new model will receive three types of power units.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the production of the Lada Aura business sedan will start in September. The basic version of the car — Techno — will receive a 106-horsepower engine and a manual transmission. More expensive trim levels will be equipped with a 1.8-liter engine and a Chinese variator.
