Страшный сон для Abrams: воздушный разведчик «Гранат-4» наведет «Краснополь» и «Китолов» на западные танки

New unmanned complex from "Kalashnikov" adjusts strikes on targets and conducts reconnaissance

The "Izhevsk Unmanned Systems" research and production association (part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) has demonstrated a model of the transportable retransmission and remote observation complex "Granat-4-E". It includes a mobile control point based on a KAMAZ vehicle with a van body and an unmanned aerial vehicle.

The complex is designed for round-the-clock remote monitoring of the area using photo, video, and thermal imaging equipment, as well as high-precision target designation for artillery.

Thanks to its characteristics, the UAV helped to hit all types of targets with "Krasnopol" and "Kitolov" guided projectiles: from single enemy combat vehicles, including the American-made M1A1 Abrams tank, to crossings over water obstacles and strongholds.

The images of targets taken by the drone have sufficiently high resolution and quality. This indicates a first-class optoelectronic system that is used on board the UAV as a payload.

Technical characteristics of the "Granat-4" UAV:

  • Target designation range — up to 3 km
  • Flight duration — 6 hours
  • Application radius — 70 km
  • Cruising speed — 100 km/h
  • Operating altitude range — 500-2000 m

Earlier, footage of the operation of "air motherships" for drones on the front line appeared online. UAV carriers of FPV drones are also equipped with repeaters for stable communication.
