This is reported by the "Parliamentary Newspaper", referring to Irina Rukavishnikova, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building. According to the publication, after the competition, the senator proposed creating a "unified legal Telegram channel" related to legal assistance to Russians in various situations. In addition, in her opinion, it is already possible to use part of the finalists' developments for the operation of the Ministry of Justice's information system "Legal Assistance".
The system of free legal assistance has received significant development at the legislative level in recent years. In 2023, the sectoral federal law was supplemented with provisions aimed at improving the work of state legal bureaus, legal clinics, more active involvement of notaries, and the provision of free legal assistance and support to citizens.
In particular, a website for preparing for litigation can be integrated into the "Legal Assistance" IS. It provides practical advice and uses AI to suggest which court is best to send a statement of claim to. A free chatbot for legal assistance to participants in the special military operation will also be in high demand.
