Russian military forces have begun deploying advanced unmanned platforms carrying strike FPV kamikaze drones. Footage of the squadron's operation has appeared online.
Military expert Evgeny Damantsev noted that the "aircraft carrier" is equipped with four engines. It is capable of delivering strike copters to a distance of 25 - 30 km with cumulative anti-tank grenades and fragmentation grenades already placed on the latter's suspension units.
The drone carrier also received multi-band repeaters, ensuring the preservation of command and telemetry control channels for FPV drones and video transmission channels, even after they are hidden beyond the radio horizon relative to the control point. The use of long-endurance UAV carriers has increased the range of small FPV drones from 15 to 40 km.
Earlier www1.ru wrote about the pros and cons of the latest Russian drone "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky." It is invulnerable to reconnaissance and electronic warfare and does not depend on the terrain.
