Корпорация Meta* заблокировала аккаунты RT и «Россия сегодня» на всех своих платформах

The blocking of Russian media accounts is related to accusations of attempted foreign interference

Meta Corporation (recognized as an extremist organization and its activities are prohibited in Russia) has blocked the accounts of a number of Russian media outlets, including RT and the Russia Today media group, on its platforms. This was reported by NBC.

It is alleged that Russia Today, RT and other related organizations are now blocked in Meta applications worldwide "in connection with attempts at foreign interference."

On September 4, the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions against RT and the editor-in-chief of the TV channel, Margarita Simonyan.

In March 2022, Roskomnadzor blocked access to Facebook** (the social network is banned in Russia) and Instagram*** (the social network is banned in Russia), as they belong to Meta, which was recognized by the Moscow court as an extremist organization.
