From January to July 2024, Barnaultransmash (part of the High-Precision Complexes holding) increased the production volume of engines for infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) by 50%. This was reported by the holding's press service.
Last year, Barnaultransmash increased production volume by 46% compared to 2022. This was made possible thanks to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation as part of the program for modernizing production facilities.
The plant is updating equipment and improving working conditions for employees. Over the past year and a half, Barnaultransmash has expanded its staff by 56%, which has also contributed to increased production volumes. The company's management is also investing in improving the skills of workers.
The plant was built in Barnaul in 1941. It produced marine, industrial, and transport diesel engines, gas piston engines, and power plants.
