According to "STC IT ROSA", an agreement has been signed with RTU MIREA on cooperation in the field of education, science and innovation.
The parties will interact in the development and testing of software solutions for the mobile operating system "ROSA Mobile". RTU MIREA students will have a unique opportunity to participate in projects related to the development of software for mobile devices. This step will open up new opportunities for students to participate in real projects and develop competencies in demand in the IT industry.
"ROSA Mobile" is a domestic mobile operating system developed by JSC "STC IT ROSA" to develop technological independence and information security of Russia. The platform was created on the basis of its own ROSA 2021.1 repository, which is in the top 10 in the world in terms of size: it contains more than 35 thousand programs and components.
Currently, the OS runs on the "R-Fon" smartphone, but it has other prospects as well. Students will be able to help with the development of new directions.
Cooperation with universities such as RTU MIREA opens up opportunities for innovation. We strive to develop mobile technologies, and the participation of students in these processes will help bring new ideas and solutions. Our joint project with RTU MIREA is aimed at strengthening the domestic IT industry and creating competitive products based on "ROSA Mobile".
Earlier it became known that "STC IT ROSA" developed a secure messaging service "ROSA Messenger" for business and the public sector.
