Scammers have come up with a new way to steal personal data. Now they are using fake health apps. This was announced by Anton Nemkin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy.
Attackers create fake mobile applications that supposedly help monitor health, track physical activity, or keep a food diary.
The applications request access to banking data and other personal information under the guise of purchasing premium features.
