Citydrive plans to increase its car fleet to 21,000 by the end of 2024. As reported to TASS in the press service of the carsharing service, the organization currently has more than 17,000 cars, of which 4,250 thousand appeared at the beginning of the year.
Russians are increasingly using Citydrive services: in the second quarter of 2024, the number of trips on the per-minute tariff increased by 20% compared to the first quarter, and on package tariffs - by 10%. In the summer, package trips for 2-7 days increased by 19%.
The most popular cars for long-distance trips from Moscow in 8 months were Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Geely Coolray, and Geely Atlas Pro. They were used more than 1,500 times. In St. Petersburg, Kia Rio, Haval Jolion Elite, and Exeed LX were in special demand, and for traveling around the Sochi and Krasnodar Territory, users preferred Changan UNI-S and Changan CS35 PLUS.
It is worth recalling that the Citydrive carsharing first appeared on the short-term rental market in 2015 under the name YouDrive. At the time of launch, the service's fleet consisted of 10 Škoda cars.
