As a result of the integration of Rosbank with T-Bank (formerly Tinkoff), Rosbank will lose its license and become a branch of T-Bank. This strategy was chosen to optimize business processes and improve efficiency. The process is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025 after approval by the boards of directors of both organizations.
For Rosbank customers, this means they will be served through the T-Bank platform. The Rosbank brand will be retained for corporate clients and in the private banking segment, but retail and individual client services will move to the T-Bank platform. This will create a unified space for customers and simplify access to services. The transition will be organized to be as smooth and seamless as possible, and Rosbank's physical branches will be replaced by an expanded network of T-Bank ATMs.
T-Bank, thanks to the integration, could become the fifth largest bank in Russia by assets. In addition, significant savings in operating expenses are expected due to the consolidation of IT platforms and optimization of operations.
